On June 24, BAIC FOTON handed over the key of 312 buses to Madagascar President Rajoelina at the Antananarivo Convention Center in the capital of Madagascar. As an important achievement of the 2024 Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, this is a new milestone in the cooperation between China and Africa in the field of green transportation under the “Belt and Road Initiative”, marking a new stage of high-quality development in the cooperation between China and Madagascar under the “Belt and Road Initiative”.

6月24日，北汽福田在马达加斯加首都塔那那利佛会展中心向马达加斯加总统拉乔利纳递交312台客车钥匙。作为2024年中非合作论坛北京峰会精神的重要成果转化，这是中非共建"一带一路"在绿色交通领域合作的新里程碑，标志着中马共建"一带一路"合作迈入高质量发展新阶段。

High Recognition, Deep Cooperation

At the delivery ceremony, President Rajoelina delivered a speech. He first expressed his sincere gratitude to BAIC FOTON for its contribution to improving Madagascar's transportation infrastructure and public service levels, and highly recognized the excellent product quality and professional team of BAIC FOTON Bus. He said: "When I was elected president, I solemnly promised the 31 million people of Madagascar that everyone would sit on gold. When I visited BAIC FOTON in 2024, 312 buses were customized for Madagascar. Now BAIC FOTON buses have arrived in Madagascar one after another, and I am very happy. I hope to maintain in-depth cooperation with BAIC FOTON, and the two sides will work together to raise the level of public transportation services in Madagascar to a new height, so that the majority of people can sit on "diamonds" and truly experience the quality of diamonds, and fulfill my promise to the people."

交车仪式上，拉乔利纳总统先生发表致辞，他首先对北汽福田为改善马达加斯加交通基础设施、提升公共服务水平所做出的贡献表示衷心感谢，高度认可了北汽福田客车卓越的产品品质和专业的团队。他表示：“在我当选总统时，我向马达加斯加3100万人民庄重承诺，让大家坐在黄金上。2024年访问北汽福田时，为马达加斯加定制了312台客车。现在北汽福田客车已经陆续抵达马达加斯加，我非常高兴。希望与北汽福田保持深度合作，双方携手将马达加斯加的公共交通服务水平提升至新的高度，让广大人民坐在‘钻石’上，真正体验钻石品质，完成我对人民的承诺。”

Liu Guanghua, Vice President of BAIC FOTON Overseas, said that as the commercial vehicle enterprise with the most complete variety and the largest scale in China, BAIC FOTON is honored to contribute FOTON's wisdom to the transportation development of Madagascar, and will continue to provide good service guarantees. In order to fully guarantee the efficient and stable operation of vehicles, BAIC FOTON has dispatched 10 senior service experts to be stationed in the local area, on the one hand to provide full life cycle operation guarantee services for vehicles, and on the other hand to train a group of professional technicians for Madagascar free of charge. He said: "BAIC FOTON is willing to work side by side with the people of Madagascar and make unremitting efforts to improve the travel welfare and quality of life of 30 million people."

After the delivery ceremony, the President led the dignitaries of Madagascar to board the BAIC FOTON bus, departed from the Convention and Exhibition Center, and headed straight to the Madagascar Airport to show the BAIC FOTON bus to all the people of Madagascar. The President remarked:"I truly appreciate the beautiful and distinctive design of the BAIC FOTON bus — it’s highly recognizable, like the smile of a child. I hope all Malagasy people can enjoy a better life and smile like children every day." He also announced on the spot that on June 26, the National Day, the people of Madagascar can ride FOTON buses for free to experience a better life.

交车仪式结束后，总统先生率马达加斯加政要登上北汽福田客车，从会展中心出发，直奔马达加斯加机场，向全体马达加斯加人民展现了福田客车。总统先生表示：“我非常喜欢福田客车美观的造型，具有很高的辨识度，像孩子的笑脸一样。我希望全体马达人民过上美好的生活，每天也露出孩子般的笑脸”，并现场宣布，在6月26日的国庆日，让马达人民免费乘坐福田客车，感受美好生活。

On June 26, BAIC FOTON Bus officially debuted at the Madagascar National Day celebration, symbolizing that 312 buses were officially put into operation.
